FORMIA, the international guest amenity and hospitality specialist, is excited to introduce an exclusive collection of amenity kits for Turkish Airlines’ long-haul Business Class female passengers, in collaboration with contemporary Italian accessories brand, Coccinelle.

The charming new range features sleek designs including a chic blush pink clutch, classic oxblood toned purses and a delightfully vibrant fuchsia pouch.

Each Coccinelle branded bag has been designed for passengers to take home and use beyond the flight as a cosmetics bag or to carry everyday essentials, epitomising the brand’s passion for thoughtfully crafted accessories.

Inside, passengers are treated to eco-friendly travel products, including a premium, sculpted eye mask for added comfort, the softest, fluffiest socks one could imagine – both made from 100% recycled PET fabrics, and even the thoughtful touch of a hairband, resulting in a responsible yet oh-so pampering kit.

Sophisticated skincare essentials are offered from French beauty brand Cinq Mondes, known for their unique revisiting of the traditional wellness and beauty rituals of the world. With a body lotion, refreshing mist and lip balm, Turkish Airlines passengers are taken on a journey through the rituals of Bahia, Brazil, with an invigorating and revitalising fragrance of lime, white cedarwood and coconut water.

The award-winning airline is offering the signature ‘34 Boulevard Saint Germain’ Eau de Toilette or ‘Eau Rose’ Eau de Toilette inside each amenity kit.

Premium passengers will receive body and face care products packaged beautifully in elegant Diptyque branded amenity bags on selected outbound flights, and luxurious bespoke gift boxes featuring Diptyque’s signature oval branding on selected inbound flights.

FORMIA, the leading international airline amenity and hospitality specialist, has facilitated an elevated standard of luxury on board Qatar Airways flights with the launch of exclusive amenity kits and gift boxes from iconic French Perfumer Diptyque. These bespoke products were first launched on select long haul routes for Qatar Airways’ First and Business Class passengers.

The new amenity range consists of iconic Diptyque branded bags as well as gift boxes featuring Diptyque’s signature oval; customised for male and female passengers.

Each Qatar Airways’ amenity kit and gift box provides specially selected Diptyque products including:

  • Nourishing Lip Balm – enriched with roses and violets to soothe and soften the lips;
  • Fresh Lotion for the Body – infused with the scent of orange blossoms, to refresh sleepy skin for all skin types;
  • Essential Face Cream – nourishing and replenishing, with prickly pear extract to boost radiance;
  • Dyptique fragrance – Eau Rose Eau de Toilette – an infusion of the finest damascena and centifolia roses, or the brand’s signature 34 Boulevard Saint Germain Eau de Toilette with notes of amber, patchouli, cinnamon and rose.

In line with Qatar Airways’ focus on sustainability, the eyeshade and socks are made from RPET*.

Passenger health and wellbeing has continuously been a priority for Delta, and this latest partnership ensures every passenger is treated to products from Grown Alchemist’s unique and advanced holistic beauty system for the ultimate wellness experience when flying with Delta.

In the Delta Sky Club Lounges, passengers will be offered a hand-picked selection of skincare products, including a sensuous aromatic body cleanser with Chamomile, Bergamot and Rose, and a gentle yet nutrient-rich shampoo and conditioner with Damask Rose.

In the onboard lavatories, Delta One passengers will be pampered with a skin softening hand wash infused with Sweet Orange, Cedarwood and Sage, and hand cream with moisturising botanical extracts.

Each First Class kit contains a 30ml bottle from the highly acclaimed BVLGARI LE GEMME fragrance collection. The male First Class passengers will discover BVLGARI LE GEMME fragrance ‘TYGAR’, named after the magnetic gemstone Tiger’s Eye, connecting man to the energy of the earth and the sun, giving him mental strength and intuition.

The female and male First Class bags are made from a stylish black faux leather and boast a striking red and tan trim respectively. Both bags come in two sleek designs, aligned with the intensity and magnificence of the fragrances they contain.

Female Business Class bags have a luxurious gold faux leather finish and shine a spotlight on the fragrance OMNIA CRYSTALLINE, a luminous and delicate scent inspired by the glowing clarity of pure crystal. FORMIA launches reusable amenity kits with added functionality for JetBlue’s transatlantic Core experience

13 August 2021 â€“ FORMIA, the international guest amenity and hospitality specialist, is excited to announce a new collaboration with JetBlue to launch onboard amenity kits for their transatlantic core experience. The new kits are now available on the airline’s highly anticipated transatlantic flights, between New York’s John F. Kennedy international Airport (JFK) and London Heathrow Airport (LHR). The kits will also be offered on flights between New York-JFK and London Gatwick Airport (LGW) starting September 29, 2021. 

The new partnership introduces a thoughtful pouch that doubles as a reusable storage bag made to last, developed from platinum silicon, a non-toxic material that is not only durable and easy to clean, but also dishwasher, microwave, and freezer friendly. With its compact size, stand-up design and resealable interlock zipper feature, the versatile bag has been consciously designed to travel with passengers beyond their journey, whether it’s to carry those travel essentials or even to keep food fresh for longer. 

With sustainability firmly front of mind, the reusable bags were developed to provide a modern, fresh take on the amenity kit, with the aim to reduce single-use plastics and encourage continued use post-flight.  The kits will include a selection of inflight necessities, as well as two-tone athletic socks made from 100% recycled PET fabrics, part of FORMIA’s recently launched sustainability initiative.

FORMIA launches CSR initiative to support local and international communities

FORMIA, the international guest amenity and hospitality specialist, is proud to announce a new Corporate Social Responsibility initiative that will focus on supporting communities that the company operates from, both locally and internationally.

Aligning with FORMIA’s mission to curate meaningful concepts and products that inspire and delight, whilst also ensuring the comfort and care of passengers, the company has chosen to focus on the education and wellness sectors.

The two organisations the amenities supplier have teamed up with are Changing Young Lives Foundation and Habitat For Humanity Hong Kong. Each charity works with underprivileged communities that often lack access to basic modern technologies and amenities. To support their work, the families they serve and the partners they work with in the community, FORMIA will be donating a range of products including computers, laptops, smart phones and essential home hygiene products and toiletries that will be distributed to those who stand to benefit the most from them.

The donated goods will be used by members of staff who develop and deliver the programmes as well as going directly to underprivileged households who are most in need of these devices and products.

The intention is for FORMIA to build an ongoing, long term relationship with these organisations to have a sustained impact on the community. Plans on how the support will be structured are currently in development and include fundraising activities; donating funds, products and services; volunteering staff time and joining one-off projects such as care home renovations or school improvement programmes.

FORMIA Drives Change With New Sustainability Strategy

6 October 2020 – Hong Kong. FORMIA, the international guest amenity and hospitality specialist, is excited to be launching the first stage of its new and enhanced sustainability strategy, enabling it to make ongoing positive contributions to both the environment and its communities.

As well as addressing passenger needs during the ongoing global pandemic, FORMIA has remained dedicated to finding relevant solutions to global issues such as the climate crisis. To support their endeavours, the company has brought onboard GlobeScan, a leading sustainability consultancy.

The first initiative to launch will see FORMIA, in an amenities industry first, commit to all future productions of inflight socks and eye masks being made from 100% recycled PET fabric. This initiative will take-off onboard from Spring 2021 with the first customer introduction, with other airline customers in planning to follow subsequently.

This means that the virgin polyester used for socks and eye masks will be changed to recycled PET that will carry the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certification. To drive the initiative forward, FORMIA is absorbing the additional cost of the material, rendering the move cost neutral for airlines and beneficial for supporting their sustainability efforts.

Transitioning from virgin polyester to recycled PET results in significant waste savings. Concretely, it will save 1,500 tons of plastic waste, which corresponds to 79 million plastic bottles, from going into landfill each year*. In addition, according to a 2018 report by the Association of Plastic Recyclers, using recycled plastic reduces energy consumption by 79% and greenhouse gas emissions by 67% compared to using new PET.

As FORMIA continues to review its end-to-end processes and identifies areas where improvements and transformation can be made, further progress will be shared, including development of CSR programs, as part of its wider sustainability strategy, with charity partners in both local and international communities.

FORMIA’s Clean Kit range now available onboard Qatar Airways

8 July 2020 – Hong Kong. FORMIA, the international guest amenity and hospitality specialist, is pleased to announce that Qatar Airways has introduced its Clean Kit range as part of the airline’s enhanced safety measures.

All passengers travelling with Qatar Airways will receive a disposable face mask, large disposable powder-free gloves, and an alcohol-based hand sanitiser gel. 

Qatar Airways has named its bespoke kit ‘Protective Kit’ as airlines have the option of tailoring them to meet passenger requirements. Furthermore, products are available as own-branded or in collaboration with a choice of trusted brands offered through FORMIA’s portfolio of selected brand partners.

The full Clean Kit range has been developed with quality Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and sanitiser products which comply with international safety standards and regulations, to ensure passengers are protected throughout their journey. The kits have been consciously designed not only to offer peace of mind, but also practical solutions that put the health, safety, and wellbeing of Qatar Airways’ customers first.
